There are various kinds of learning resources (e.g. videos, modules, books, presentations, etc.) that can be presented in many different ways inside Moodle. In this module you will be introduced to many of them. -
Moodle offers many options for creating your own learning resources, some as seemingly traditional as the Book (although the Moodle Book resource is anything but traditional since chapters can contain many forms of media), to an interactive Lesson, and a standard web Page. A Label may also function as a learning resource to guide students within the course.

Once you have chosen an existing resource you need to decide how to provide it to your learners. This section teaches how to upload or link to files, how to provide access within Moodle, and how to display them on your site. Technical considerations of the variety of resource types are also presented.

Involving learners in the process of building a learning resource draws upon their varied experiences and helps them exercise reflection, critical thinking, and decision making in the content area of the course. Moodle offers a Wiki activity, a community Glossary, and supports the use of external collaboration tools as well.
