Dear WIGOS community,

We hope you are keeping all safe and healthy!

We are pleased to announce that the next WIGOS webinar, that covers OSCAR/Surface, WDQMS and other related topics, will be held on Monday 22th February 2021 at 12h UTC

This time the objective is to introduce the participants to the OSCAR/Surface Web client tool, as a complementary webtool for batch uploading WIGOS metadata.

To talk about this topic, Mr. Timo Pröscholdt, from WMO Secretariat, will deliver a presentation.

This is the first WIGOS webinar in 2021, according to the plan for the first half of the year, as announced last month. As usual, it is organized for the duration of 1 hour, with the following items: welcome/introduction, presentation and questions and answers. The main language will be English and everyone can participate. Webinars in other WMO languages are being planned.

We will much appreciate receiving any suggestions on new topics that you would like to discuss, for the webinars on the second half of the year.

We will be using the MS-Teams videoconferencing tool, so participants are advised to connect a bit ahead of the official start to make sure they can connect without problems.

To connect to the webinar, use the following URL:

Looking forward to speaking to you all again soon!

Luis
