Dear WIGOS community,
We hope you all had a good start into the new year!
First, we would like to thank all participants to the special Webinar that was held on 14th December 2020, dedicated to “Your views on the online WIGOS resources”.
One of the recommendations that came out of the discussions at that Webinar was that future Webinars should be planned and announced well in advance, including the topics to be covered.
Therefore, here is the initial plan for the Webinars to be held in the coming months, between February and June 2021:
· Webinar #22 - Monday, 22 February 2021, 12 UTC, OSCAR/Surface Webclient-tool
· Webinar #23 - Monday, 22 March 2021, 12 UTC, OSCAR/Surface Release 1.6.0
· Webinar #24 - Monday, 26 April 2021, 12 UTC, OSCAR/Surface “Station templates”
· Webinar #25 - Monday, 24 May 2021, 12 UTC, updates on WDQMS Webtool
· Webinar #26 -Monday, 28 June 2021, 12 UTC, updates on OSCAR/Surface API.
As we did in the past, each Webinar will be announced one or two weeks in advance, confirming or not the initial planned dates (above) as well as the topic to be addressed. We will stick to the initial plan as much as possible, but please be aware that changes in dates and topics may have to be introduced.
