Dear SYMET-14 participants,
A very important output of this symposium is the SYMET-14 Statement, which is written based on the work you have done through the great collaborations during this week in the Working Groups and plenary discussions. I would like to highlight the importance of your participation today, to discuss and approve the SYMET-14 Statement that was drafted. This is an important document that is aimed to support you moving forward and bringing SYMET-14 recommendations to the attention of your institutions and colleagues.
The SYMET-14 Programme indicates the time scheduled for today's discussions, and I highlight them below:
- 13:00 - 14:00 UTC - Discussion of Symposium Statement, final considerations and comments
- 14:00 - 15:30 UTC - Final approval of Symposium Statement (and identification of leads for actions - if time allows)
- 15:30 -16:00 UTC - Reading of SYMET-14 Statement and final remarks from WMO Secretary General
