Training Course on Seamless Prediction of Air Pollution in Africa, Cairo, Egypt, 2024
A collection of self-paced modules on the monitoring and forecasting of sand & dust storms, wildfires and volcanic eruptions. The modules will teach you the basics of Atmospheric Composition and guide you in selecting and using global products from satellites, networks and numerical models throughout the lifecycle of extreme events.

The Education and Training Programme (ETRP) and the Global Atmosphere Watch (GAW) Programme of the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) together with the Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD) organized the international “PREFIA Workshop: Air Quality (AQ) Prediction and Forecasting Improvement for Africa” and training course on “Seamless Prediction of Air Pollution for Africa” in Nairobi, Kenya, from 7 to 12 October 2019.
