You can simply chose the forums you want to follow by clicking "Yes" and "No". Even if you unsubscribed from any forum you will still be able to track the discussion by visiting the Event Site. You can even decide on how often you would like to receive email notifications by clicking the "Email digest type" in the Forums List.
