Working in data collection circle Nashik used to collect data of rainfall, river gauging and full climatic stations in tapi basin. We came across the communication gap because athe area is very large and it is in tribal area. Communication with Mobil is not possible. Some rain gauge stations are not even reachable in rainy season. In that we unable to collect data. Dam are constructed on river hence the measurements of discharge becomes accurate from the spillway gates.
