Hello everyone and welcome to the Basic Hydrologic Sciences distance learning course. I am Matthew Kelsch with the COMET Program. Over the years we developed many of the lessons that are part of this course. I am very happy to see these lessons being used by talented scientists throughout the world. I look forward to seeing your written assignments at the end of the course. Your assignments provide an opportunity for me to learn about the hydrology and climate of your region.
