Dear WIGOS community,

we are happy to announce that release v1.5.3 (https://wdqms-dev.wmo.int/) is available for testing. This release implements the Marine Quality Phase II, which establishes the link of Marine assets to OSCAR/Surface. You will see that there is now a link in the popup of Marine Stations, which is active if the asset can be matched with a record in O/S. The "steering wheel" button in the map can be used to only show assets without a metadata record. The column "in_oscar" in the download is also populated.

The release also contains changes in the background enabling WDQMS to read timeliness templates and RWC association of stations from OSCAR allowing these features to become available in a future release.

We are planning to release v1.5.3 in about two weeks. Please have a look at the release and send your feedback!

with kind regards,

Timo, for the WDQMS team

Dear Timo, it looks really very good and the links to OSCAR works fine.

I noticed a small bug, the reported value of HR when clicking on a dot is displayed in numeric form instead of % as the error scale is.

Also a difference and improvemente between versions is that the new release will bring the name field and the WIGOS ID. For example the case with bouy 1301714
old
BUOYName: UnknownTSI: 1301714

New

BUOYName: 1301714WSI: 0-22000-0-1301714

Other thing is that the daily download of pressure from day 13 brings 3 more lines on the new version. I can't say where the difference is-.

I haven't checked other modules as I understand nothing else changed

Thanks to all the wdqms team for this develpment, and also to those making the effort to integrate metadata in OSCAR.

Martina
