Dear CALMeters

Day two started at 5.00 UTC with a workshop from Roro and Nina about knowledge sharing within communities. During this session we dived into the theory of knowledge sharing, the challenges that come with knowledge sharing, and possible solutions to get the knowledge across in a substantial way.

At 12.00 UTC, Tsvet, Fabienne, and Keliann took us to the world of hackathons to experience the joy and efficiency of such events. This was serious work with a lot of fun. The hackathon finished with a sharing of personal experiences being part of such a type of event and a quick short show and tell on the exercises that were prepared during this workshop.

At 22.00 UTC, we saw and discussed some examples of training methods that were used to train our future Meteorological professionals. Lucia, Romina, and Jim brought some updates about the training methods they developed in their institutions.

The discussion that has started during these sessions, will continue, in the asynchronous forums in the Group pages until the end of the week. In case you didn’t manage to join these sessions and you are still interested to see what happens? Then the recordings of these sessions will be available on the "Information for Synchronous Sessions & the Recordings of the Events that Happened in this Group" page in the CALMet XV Conference site. The recordings of the first session you will find on the page of Group 3. The recording of the hackathon you will find on the page of Group 2 and the last session you will find on the page of Group 4.

And what to expect for the third day?
