Topic: Switch classroom to online training | CALMet XIV 2021

Online training has been promoted for many years and its advantages have been a recurring topic in previous CALMets. In the context of the fast transition to online training during the past year, the participants expressed: “necessity is the mother of invention ” , “embrace changes as opportunities”, “do your best“ , “do not try to be perfect”. Many factors influence training outcomes. Recalling that all forms of training have barriers, efforts to minimize and overcome difficulties need to be made. The disadvantages of online training are being reduced every day so for many , online training provides added value and a positive experience; but some groups of learners which required special attention will need to be recuperated.
