This activity originated from teaching and learning activities that took place during this pandemic where after seeing learners at the education and training center, there needs to be interactive, collaborative learning where participants and presenters can both have mutual bonds in a lesson. Activities in zoom meetings that only used PPT slides as the main learning material in learning made the learning online became boring. Participants turn off their cameras and they felt it was not interactive, learning objectives were not achieved. Therefore, a collaborative and interactive learning system is required.
In the Online Session, various kinds of media can be used, from the Zoom Meeting to Easy Webinar.
In addition to commonly used PowerPoint, there are google slides to enable trainers in presenting online. If your learning activities include brainstorming, you can use tools like MindMup, to Miro. Take also the advantage of the Zoom breakout room, you can use the breakout room.
As for evaluations and polls, you can use the google form which is the most widely used, from Mentimeter to ExamBro. Those all interactive tools can be used simultaneously by participants as long as the internet network is not interrupted.
The survey results that we got from various sources on the internet said, why is there silence during the Q&A session? I am confused, Not interested in the topic, It is of no use to me, I am bored, I don't understand but okay, I disagree but never mind, I don't listen to the topic, I need time to think, I can't answer, I'm working on other things.
In order for learning to remain focused, several things need to be considered and maintained, such as keeping the video on and the occasional response being controlled, asking one student to be the class supervisor or moderator, asking several students to be class minutes taking and concluding, role rotation or trying to play a role and turn on the Ausio at that time.
Some tips before starting online classes will be shared further. Effective and efficient time in classroom learning takes place according to the existing schedule.
