Public-Private Engagement (PPE) in Weather, Climate and Water Services (Self-paced Online Course)
This course is part of an initiative by the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) aimed at building effective communication and collaboration among stakeholders in the public, private and academic sectors as well as civil society in support of critical services in weather, climate and water around the world. It makes use of videos, interviews, text, interactive graphics, case-studies and activities to introduce the basic concepts and issues surrounding Public-Private Engagement.
The course consists of four modules:
Module One: Introduction to Public-Private Engagement (~30 min.)
Module Two: Legislative and Institutional Frameworks for PPE (~25 min.)
Module Three: Data Sharing (~25 min.)
Module Four: Approaches for PPE (~40 min.)
