The day starts with an introduction to WIS 2.0, explaining its architecture, key concepts, and the role of its components, following by a summary of the implementation plan for WIS 2.0 and the transition from GTS/WIS1 to WIS 2.0.

The afternoon session will focus on familiarizing participants with the WIS2-in-a-box (wis2box) software. This software provides a reference implementation of a WIS2 Node and enables the participants to gain practical experience exchanging data using the WIS2 protocols.
