Day 3: Wednesday – Advanced wis2box Functions and GTS-to-WIS2 transition
On the third day, participants will learn about WMO Binary Codes and data conversion tools included in the wis2box-software. The day begins with hands-on sessions on using tools like ecCodes and CSV-to-BUFR conversion to standardize meteorological data formats.
The afternoon sessions cover WIS2-to-GTS transition, including adding GTS headers for the transition period, and configuring access-controlled datasets to limit the sharing of recommended data with selected partners.
