Romina Mezher - Bringing Meteorological Services and Universities together: An example on an Aeronautical Meteorology course in Argentina.
I will show you a successful experience in an aeronautical meteorology course where students visited the forecast office at Jorge Newbery Airport in Buenos Aires, Argentina. This course was in the first semester of 2022. I was the lab professor and the students learned about airplane characteristics and atmospheric phenomena that affect aviation such as fog, ice formation, and turbulence, among others.
This is a positive and successful experience in an aeronautical meteorology course where we bring together the University and the National Meteorological Service.
