This is Olivia Lee from the Hong Kong Observatory. Recently we found that the 'Country/Territory' field and 'Station contacts' field of two GAW stations under Hong Kong Observatory were wrong. Details are:
Name: King’s Park
WIGOS Station Identifier: 0-20008-0-HKO
Country/Territory: China (As shown in OSCAR and GAWSIS but is incorrect. The correct entry should be 'Hong Kong, China'.)
Name: Hok Tsui/Cape D’Aguilar
WIGOS Station Identifier: 0-20008-0-HKG
Country/Territory: China (As shown in OSCAR and GAWSIS but is incorrect. The correct entry should be 'Hong Kong, China'.)
In addition, under 'Station contacts' of the above two stations, there are Ms Lijuan SHI and Dr. Xiao-Ye Zhang from China Meteorological Administration. Both are not involved in the administration of the above two stations.
Grateful if you can amend the "Country/Territory" field as described above and also remove the two contacts from both stations. We cannot make the aforesaid amendments via OSCAR or GAWSIS.
