OPTION B.
Murshidabad District of West Bengal ,forms a part of the Western Bengal basin, which in turn is a part of the
GANGES-MEGHNA-BRAMHAPUTRA delta; the largest fluvio-deltaic system on the Earth. The area is famous(?) for severity of Geogenic contamination amidst its highly contrasting hydrogeological conditions on either sides of river Bhagirathi.Instantly I will try to put up the glimpse of peculiar hydrogeological condition of the district with special emphasis on its Geogenic toxicity profile.
