The organization is entrusted with the work of World Bank assisted Hydrology Project Stage I, II and III (NHP) by means of installing and maintaining instruments, data collection, validation, storage and dissemination of hydro-meteorological and water quality data.
Network of various hydrological and meteorological data receiving stations is established throughout Maharashtra State. All the data is collected and stored at data centre Nasik.
