You are receiving this message because you participated in the Joint CALMet XVI – CONECT-3 Conference in 2025.

We are pleased to inform you that registration is now open for the joint events of the Fifteenth WMO Symposium on Education and Training (SYMET-15), the Fourth Meeting of the Consortium of WMO Education and Training Collaborating Partners (CONECT-4), and the Meeting of Directors of WMO Regional Training Centres (RTCs).

📅 Date: 7–11 December 2026
📍 Venue: Nanjing, China
💻 Format: Hybrid, with opportunities for both in-person and online participation

Following our earlier announcement of the Joint WMO Education, Training and Capacity Development Event, we are pleased to inform you that the deadline for poster abstract submissions has been extended to 25 October 2026 (23:59 Geneva time, CET).

We warmly encourage you to take this opportunity to share your experiences, initiatives, innovations and good practices with the WMO education and training community.

Preparations are progressing well for this joint event, which brings together SYMET-15, CONECT-4 and the Meeting of Directors of WMO Regional Training Centres (RTCs), taking place from 7 to 11 December 2026 in Nanjing, China, in hybrid format.

We are planning a highly interactive and engaging event, with opportunities for participants to exchange experiences, explore new ideas, discuss common challenges and strengthen collaboration across the WMO community.

To give you a taste of what we are planning for the week, we are pleased to share the provisional programme of the joint event (attached). We hope it will encourage you to join the discussions and contribute to this important gathering!
