In this hands-on workshop, you’ll learn how to use Synthesia, an AI-powered video platform, to turn a short script into a polished talking-head training video—no filming, no editing, no special gear required. We’ll walk through entering your text, choosing an AI avatar, and customizing visuals and audio so you leave with a finished video you can use in your own learning projects.
Along the way, we’ll also look critically at AI avatars: when they genuinely support learning, where they fall short, and what ethical and trust issues to watch for. Please create a free Synthesia account before the session and bring a 1–2 paragraph script for a learning video you’d like to develop.During the webinar, we will use the polling app called “PointSolutions”.
