Dear SOFF Peer Advisors,

We are scheduling an online WIS 2.0 follow-up session to build on the SOFF Peer Advisors and Implementing Entities workshop, held in De Bilt, Netherlands on 9 – 10 October 2024. This session is tentatively scheduled for 7 November 2024 at 15:00 – 17:00 CET.  Please mark your calendars.

During this session, WIS 2.0 experts, including from the INFCOM Standing Committee on Information Management and Technology (SC-IMT) and the WMO Secretariat, will present technical aspects of WIS 2.0. We encourage you to extent this invitation to WIS 2.0 experts within your organizations.

The agenda and further details will be shared in due course via the beta version of SOFF LearnConnect in Moodle: Course: SOFF LearnConnect | ETRP Moodle Site and by email.

This is a kind reminder that our follow-up session on WIS 2.0 will be held online on Thursday, 7 November 2024, from 15:00 to 17:00 CET. Please find the draft agenda attached, and let us know if you have any comments.

We also encourage you to extend this invitation to WIS 2.0 experts within your organization. We plan to cover WIS 2.0 in a series of three sessions, with this session being the first. Details of the second and third sessions will be discussed and provided later.

Please note that this session will be recorded, and the recording will be available via SOFF LearnConnect in Moodle.
