•Have
more engagements with users so that we match their needs
•Have
a platform to showcase our products that all stakeholders know everything we
have to offer (Both commercial clients and non commercial) – We need to be more
visible
•We
need more collaborations, also make our data sharing policy more relaxed so
that it can be easier for these collaborations
•Human
capacity and lack of skills to interpret some of our observation network e.g.,
radar system which we only get to use it to track the storm.
•Data
integration with other organization that might have the missing data – gap
filling (Strong partnerships with climate services within the country)
•We
need to relook our MoUs with
University so that when we give them data we can also gain skills – Capacity
building
•We
need a strong relationship between scientists doing work on the ground the
ground and policy makers so that we are sure interpretation is correct before
we draft policies
•Develop
a climate watch system that is freely available on our website at all times
•We
need a tool that can monitor and evaluate the relevancy of our products and
services – this is where we need to involve users of climate information
•We
need to find a way on how we can incorporate renalaysis data where we have gaps in our
day-to-day operations
•In
these workshops, we also need to involve more decision makers within Met
offices
