This online learning module covers two optical phenomena, polar stratospheric and noctilucent clouds. It explains the physical concepts behind these two special types of clouds and the circumstances under which they can occur.

It will be part of a series of online learning modules on optical phenomena, which will be shared with the community as soon as they are fully developed and ready for use.
