Description
The
following tutorial deals with the basic development of mountain wave
turbulence. The knowledge transfer takes place in a dialogue between a
pilot and an aviation weather forecaster. Short phases of knowledge
transfer are always followed by small learning objective checks.
Expected Learning Outcomes
The
user is able to reproduce the generation processes of mountain waves.
In addition to the necessary meteorological prerequisites, the effects
in the atmosphere and visual characteristics are also recognised.
