Meetings of CONECT

The Joint CALMet XVI – CONECT 3 Conference will bring together the global meteorological and hydrological education and training community to explore the theme “Future-Proofing Meteorological Training: Bridging Collaboration, Experience, and Innovation.”
During the first three days (24-26 November 2025), participants will share knowledge, best practices, and emerging strategies across three focus areas: collaboration, experience-based learning, and innovation in digital education. The final two days (27 and 28 November 2025) will be dedicated to the Third plenary meeting of the Consortium of WMO Education and Training Collaborating Partners (CONECT-3), which will focus on strengthening coordination and sustainability in capacity development efforts.

The Second plenary meeting of the Consortium of WMO Education and Training Collaborating Partners (CONECT-2) will take place in a hybrid format at the China Meteorological Administration Training Centre (CMATC) in Beijing, China, and Online, from 22 to 24 October 2024.

The first meeting of the Consortium of WMO Education and Training Collaborating Partners (CONECT-1) will take place in a hybrid format at WMO Secretariat in Geneva, Switzerland, and Online using Zoom, from 17 to 19 April 2023.
For secretariat and colleagues who may be comming to Geneva to attend the meeting, please join us at Salle B (reception floor).
The instructions to attend the meeting online will be be sent to you individually when you complete the Registration. The link to complete Registration is available in the "Welcome Letter" sent to all individuals nominated to participate in the Consortium.
