The contributors showed a variety of training strategies: from user oriented communication to the importance of weather radar images in analysing the life cycle of a convective system. Collaborations in training are key to face extreme weather as shown in tailor-made capacity development plan for integrated riverine flood forecasting system and online IBF Course that meets real needs. Two guides were shared: “Interactive guide to connecting the Global Flood Community” from a pilot stage of EOTEC DevNet, and “WMO Workshop Instructor Guide for Regional Training Centers on hydrometeorological Information for Disaster Risk Reduction”.
