Introduction
Overview
The WIS 2.0 Complimentary training workshop for Caribbean countries is a follow-up to the WIS2 Training held in 2023. The aim of this workshop is to translate the foundational knowledge of WIS2 into practical skills that enable Caribbean countries to benefit from sharing and receiving data weather data over the WIS2 network to improve their local meteorological services.
This is an in-person training event, where participants will engage in hands-on exercises using virtualized machines hosted on the European Weather Cloud.
Funding for this workshop has been provided through the Climate Risk and Early Warning Systems (CREWS) initiative and the Caribbean Meteorological Organization.
