Day 3: Wednesday – Advanced wis2box Functions and Data Integration

On the third day, participants will learn about WMO Binary Codes and data conversion tools included in the wis2box-software. The day begins with hands-on sessions on using tools like ecCodes and CSV-to-BUFR conversion to standardize meteorological data formats. 

The afternoon sessions cover procedures during the GTS-to-WIS2 transition period. Participant learn about the gateways providing temporary global services during the transition period and how to optionally add GTS headers to WIS2 notifications.
