Training Workshop for Day 2

Day 2: Tuesday – Working with WIS2 in a box

Day 2 demonstrates the principles of sharing data on WIS 2.0 by using the wis2box software on locally provided Virtual Machines to enable each participant to set up their own WIS2 Node.

Presentations explaining how the wis2box software works are combined with hands-on practical sessions, where participants will learn how to initialize the system on their VM, configure datasets, and finally ingest and publish data from their own WIS2 Node.

At the end of the day, participants will have the opportunity to join a social event in Nairobi to encourage networking and exchange among the trainees.
