Read me first - How to enroll and how to get the badge?
Welcome to the Course on Communicating Agrometeorological Information
This is a self-paced online course consisting of 6 lessons. You are free to complete the course at your own pace. The lessons must be taken in their order and each lesson must be completed before the next is unlocked. The total estimated study time is approximately 2 hours, and you may pause and resume whenever it suits your schedule.
If you would like to receive a WMO-certified badge upon successful completion, please follow the Self-Enrollment procedure outlined below. This will allow you to receive a badge on successful completion of the course and the Final Assessment.
How to Enroll:
- Go to the course page. In the upper right corner, you will see “You are currently using guest access (Log in)”.
- Click “Log in”.
- If you already have an ETRP Moodle account, log in and proceed directly to step 9.
- If you do not have an account, scroll down to “Is this your first time here?” and click “Create new account”.
- Fill in all required fields, complete the reCAPTCHA, and click “Create my new account”.
- You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provided.
- Click the link in that email to verify your registration.
- Once verified, click “Continue” to proceed.
- Return to the course homepage. If needed, use this link: Communicating agrometeorological information
- In the Actions menu (under the gear icon in the upper right), select “Enroll me in this course”.
- On the confirmation page, click “Enroll me”.
- You are now successfully enrolled! You should see a progress block on the right side of the page showing your course status.
How to get the badge:
- To earn your WMO badge, you must complete all 6 lessons and achieve at least 70% on the Final Assessment.
- Please make sure to update your profile after enrolling, as your personal information is required for badge issuance.
- The Announcements Forum is used by course developers to share important updates. You will receive email notifications for new announcements.
