Welcome to our workshop on myScripting, a tool that facilitates instructional design making.

Pre-Conference Phase

Learning Objective: You are able to login to the myScripting and find your way around the platform.
Time: 20 to 50 minutes (depending on your curiosity)


Mandatory Task

1. Visit https://myscripting.zhaw.ch/  and register with your e-mail address
2. Click through the website and try to find out, what it can offer.
3. What are your first impressions? What attracted your interest especially?


Have we aroused your curiosity? Face the first small challenge! (Optional)

1. Open a new script on myScripting.
2. Design a course that meets the following conditions:

          • Be creative! Pick a title and add some metadata.
          • Add at least one Content delivery, one Activation and one Interaction.
          • Meet the course duration: 90 to 120 minutes.
          • Add Fabienne Werder and Claudia Stocker as team members, so we can see what you have created.

Conference Phase

Learning Objective: You are able to design a course with myScripting.
Our joint workshop takes place on Monday, September 27th, 12 to 14 UTC

      • Viewing and editing rights: myScripting front page > team member: switch between pen (write rights) and eye (read rights) with a click.
      • Use topics and subtopics to create a better overview of the course.
      • Change course phases: click on course phase - use arrow left/right.
      • Copy and paste of course object: press CTRL and move the object with your mouse (drag and drop).
      • Table view: turn on editing mode (above the table, right) to make changes to your course design.
      • Export course and import in moodle: Your moodle environment will be built according to the structure you designed in myScripting.
