There are two Austrian stations listed in OSCAR with similar names:
- Reutte-Tirol – WIGOS identifier: 0-20000-0-11116
- Reutte – WIGOS identifier: 0-20000-0-11314
The station Reutte-Tirol (0-20000-0-11116) reports snowfall observations manually only. However, this station appears in the “NWP Land Surface” section of WDQMS, where it is displayed with a yellow status indicator, an incorrect WIGOS identifier, and the station name “unknown.”
Furthermore, there appears to be no corresponding link to OSCAR for this station in WDQMS.
As this station reports snowfall observations only, we are unsure why it is included in the “NWP Land Surface” section of WDQMS and why it is displayed with an incorrect WIGOS identifier and the name “unknown.”
Could you please clarify why this station appears in WDQMS in this way and whether its listing or identification requires correction?
