To the Hive Mind,

I just arrived on here, and figured I'd try a few things out :)

Much to my surprise, I was not able to reply/comment/interact with the "Welcome" message under the "Announcements". Is that expected ?

Also, I cannot seem to find any fancy Forum topics (e.g. "Q&A") to store this message under ... ?

Indeed, the current configuration doesn't allow participants to post in the "Announcements" section, but they can post in the "Forum Discussion," as you did here. Discussion topics will be open for peer advisors to raise any specific topics (subject of the discussion) they'd like. We can always revisit and adjust the configuration based on our experience with the platform.

P.S. I just realized I hadn’t activated subscriptions for the discussion forum, but I’ve done that now, so I should receive email notifications for any new posts.

Hi Zul,

Great. Noted about the replies on the announcement section. Short of a proper answer, I admit that it would be great to be able to give at least a "thumbs up" to announcements ... at the moment, I feel a bit weird not being able to do anything after reading an announcement. I'll be curious to see how the other users feel about it.
