I am pleased to share with you some useful touristic information, in case you are interested to visit a bit of Bucharest while being here.

In addition, I copy here some information regarding COVID-19 restrictions/recommendations when traveling to Romania:
IMPORTANT!

! New update.
The state of alert  has expired  on the territory of Romania (since March 8, 2022).
See below recommendations and clarifications related to isolation, quarantine, entry conditions, travel to other countries, PLF, green certificate. Please come back!
BY TERMINATION OF ALERT:

(main categories of interest)

·         Medical mask or FFP2 mask
It is NO longer mandatory in all closed and open public spaces (and on the street).

·         Access to various public spaces (commercial spaces, shops, public institutions, etc.)
No more limitations (green certificate, testing).

·         Operating schedule (shops, terraces, restaurants, public or private events, etc.)
There are NO more limitations (eg 10 pm).

·         Passenger Location Form (PLF)
It is NO longer required when entering Romania, but it is still required by other countries!

·         COVID electronic certificate
He will NO longer be required to enter the country. But it is still required upon entry into other countries.

·         Quarantine (at the entrance to Romania)
NO longer applies to anyone comes from any country.

·       RECOMMENDED MEASURES (to avoid increased Covid infection)

·         Wearing a protective mask in crowded open spaces, in public transport, in closed spaces, including health facilities, in kindergartens, schools, universities;

·         Avoid crowded spaces whether they are closed or open;

·         Hand washing, use of a disinfectant;

·         People who have symptoms - testing at the family doctor or at the evaluation centers;

·         People with a positive, automatic diagnosis are isolated (they will receive medical leave);

·         Consultation of travel conditions in other states (they still have Covid rules / restrictions).
