The WIS 2.0 Training Workshop, scheduled for September 2025 in Guangzhou, China, is a training workshop designed to enhance understanding and operational skills related to the WIS 2.0 system for invited countries in the Area Of Responsibility of GISC Beijing and GISC New Delhi.
Hosted by China Meteorology Administration, the workshop will be conducted in English, with English support available for Q&A sessions. Key learning objectives include gaining insights into the WIS 2.0 architecture, understanding the GTS-to-WIS2 transition plan, and acquiring hands-on experience in installing, configuring, and operating a WIS2 node using the "WIS2 in a box" software.
