This discussion was very interesting.
For me, it is the opposite. Our upper-air station 0-20000-0-02365 Sundsvall Harnosand is shown (as a black dot) on the GBON map, but is not shown at all on the NWP map.
I reported the station silent about two weeks ago, could that be related?
